The Data Steward Interest Group (DSIG) is an informal and inclusive data stewardship community that promotes peer-learning though knowledge and experience exchange. The community is open to everyone who is interested in data stewardship and regularly organises (online) meetings and events, and has an active online presence through the Slack platform. Meetings are not limited to a specific academic discipline or limited to the Netherlands, but it is Netherlands based.

Presentation: FAIR Lesson Plan Handbook

Find here their latest presentation on the 6th of March 2024 entitled FAIR Lesson Plan Handbook. The presentation was about teaching FAIR principles and it was hosted by Health-RI a Dutch organization that tries to improve health care by facilitating reuse of health data with an integrated health data infrastructure for research, policy and innovation.

TheData Stewards Interest Group events and meetings can be found through the website of the Thematic Digital Competence Centres (TDCCs ), which are network based initiatives set up by NWO and the Dutch academic community to broker investments into open science projects.
